um i cant really ask this without covering it so...spoiler[did anyone else hate talhos new makeover. i like fanservice talho best.] also a question not so frivilous spoiler[ being that eureka is a humannoid corallion (cant spell well) does she age? in the movie shown in ep 30 she didn't look younger but the same as she does now unless all that happened not too long ago.] also spoiler[anemone she like eureka right? i heard she from some sorta manmade corallion. but she like eureka right? maybe connected?] and one that probably dee dee dee but spoiler[so are renton and her official couple? do they kiss anytime soon?]

In response to your first question: I don't much like Talho's new haircut but I think the whole idea is that she's supposed to finally be able to leave her past behind and change/mature. Fanservice is all good and well, but characters with depth is much more important to me. As for Eureka's age, it would seem that Eureka certainly does not age normally. The first Summer of Love occured at least 10 years ago and Eureka doesn't appear to have aged since then. Eureka and Anemone could be said to be connected. I believe they can "sense" each other. Anemone is man-made and was supposed to be similar to Eureka. If you remember from the 26th episode, Renton professed his undying love to Eureka. Renton's still a bit unsure about how to express his love with Eureka.... for now

Yeah, Talho's makover is really lame. Eureka's too. Both characters looked their best earlier in the series.

I hated Talho's new look from the second i saw it, however later,or now (im not watching it on AS) spoiler[when she's basically the commander and Moondoggie becomes the pilot AND USEFUL!!, she looks good in that chair with that look.]
of course Eureka doesnt age normally thilly, and for her look, i liked her first but her third hair-do is B-E-A-UTIFUL!!! Anemone is just a spoiler[man-made copy, being somewhat mass-produced and one of the only to survive the horrible crap she went through] and she can "feel" what Eureka "feels" YES!!! yes they are, but anytime soon is pushing it. Like Link pushes big square boxes |

I think the way she gained that last hairstyle was way cool. Such a supernatural instant change, it's almost a magical girl moment. Viga: others have answered your questions much better than I could've done so; however, I'd like to add that the change is more of a character development point than a fan-pleasing move. They no longer need to feel "beautiful," so to speak. Well, at least for Talho. 
I'm following this on AS (out of duty?); it's not bad, though I like the sub more -- not because of Renton, though! Oh, and that last question... spoiler[They'll try, but it's a shonen so don't expect that anytime soon. Boys' shows do give the smoochy moments super importance for some reason so it's usually saved for the climax. -.-" Of course, I'm not gonna spoil that for you even in the spoiler tag.
Moreover, I personally think their relationship get all sentimental and less believable from this point forward -- it does get sweeter during the last arc, in my opinion. And its development essentially takes a back seat to the plot as the show just assume that the audience agrees that they're now a couple, come what may.] |

Yeah, seriously. I mean, I understand the need to prove a plotline related point, but I'd rather not have anything altered to strengthen the plotline if it's at the expense of two of the most attractive female protagonists in the series. I know storyline and character development are important and all, but I'd rather not see Eureka and Talho with ugly makeovers, especially when half my motivation to continue the series was because of the two. It's tolerable, but then again, so was the animation in Kanon 2002 (the series I bumped down a whole rating because of the awful animation). |

YES!!!!!!! laughing is a wonderful thing. And i think both Renton and Eureka both became like a hybrid of Coralian and human making them MORE! then AWESOME and they'll end up aging the same way |
