I don't think they did one edit to .Hack/Roots. Sexual themes galore! It was awsome

The Click goes up on Saturday mornings. Due to our publishing schedule, it can't go up any earlier than that.

It's a pity Saiyuki Reload the anime isn't as good as the manga. Otherwise, the showing on Encore Action would have been good for multiple fangirlasms.

Do I need to see Saiyuki before I see Saiyuki Reload?

I am enjoying watching Saiyuki Reload at "as fast as humanly possible". I take breaks during post-episode commercials to browse the internet and talk about how good/average the episode was to my annoyed siblings who probably couldn't care less.
I like how the first OP and ED themes to Saiyuki Reload are some nifty Japanese nu-metal instead of the typical anime music. Please don't judge the music by my calling it "nu-metal" though; it's very pleasant.
I didn't watch Saiyuki's first series first, and I honestly am left wondering SOME things, but I'm not so confused that I can't enjoy it for what it is. My main question is... What's with that scripture?

While you don't have to have watched the first series, since Reload is episodic, the first Saiyuki series is better, with much backstory and some involving arcs.
As for the scripture, it's one of the founding scriptures of the universe (God's blueprints, so to speak). A sanzo priest's job is to guard it. The demons want it for a project they're doing to resurrect Gyumaoh, a powerful demon.

It's a direct continuation. Very Direct. As a matter of fact it's just season 3 of the never ending saiyuki story so yes I would say watch saiyuki first. That may sound like I am knocking the show but I love Saiyuki. If you don't watch it from the beginning it will be hard to follow.

*wonders if the Mamoto Democracy would work.*
Nah. Zatch's a wimp. He should've gone anarchist.
Oh dear; I missed .hack//...something (what a stupid name). Now I won't know what all the commotion is about. Its reputation range from Something Awesome to worthless MMORPG copytrite.
Anyway, Steamboy reruns! Woohoo!

I almost overslept but I managed to catch the last 15 minutes of ep. 1 of .hack//Roots. That time is soooooo inconvenient.
I liked the dub. It was a good ep.

I think it's because CN probably has some sort of obligation to Bandai and no one really wants to watch .hack without having some sort of mental roadblock.

You think you got it bad? Over here in Louisiana, it's even worse. Ever since hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit, our local paper has been too chicken to add the right amount of paper necessary to give us good TV listings! The Internet is the only way I can keep up with TV!
