This may be a really stupid question but I wasn't sure of the answer even after reading over the rules. Is it okay to ask about buying a specific, legal item from someone else?
I have no interest in buying a DVD, official or bootleg, just a pencil board that came with Kannazuki no Miko volume 2. Is it okay to ask here if anyone would like to sell me one? If it's not okay, sorry about the post and please delete it! |

I see no problem with creating a thread like that, as long as we keep the requests to "Wanted", rather than "To Sell."

Well, since it's been approved..(I think)
I need volumes 4 and up of the Kodocha manga by tokyopop...It's out of print and I cant find it all at online stores...I searched and searched at the con this weekend to no avail. edit: though, I really don't see this thread getting to much viewer traffic...simply because it's in the retail section...sigh. |

It can be a bit pricy with the shipping, but when I'm looking for something I cannot find anywhere else I look it up at Barnes&Noble because even if they don't carry it they often have their "Used Copies Available from our Authorized Sellers" links. Look here and see if you can find a good deal in the links on the right side for the volumes you need. Actually is that the right manga, right? Sorry, I've never read Kodocha, so I'm not sure. |

The tough part about Kodocha will be finding someone who wants to part with it. 
.... However, I *DO* think I saw some Kodocha volumes at my local comic shop.... I'll check back there and if they have them, maybe we can work out a trade or something. As for the "Wanted Thread" thing, perhaps we should just make a generic thread and sticky it. |

SO would this end up being a sticky or what? There's actually a couple of things I've asked for here, however I haven't had much luck. Course the manga I'm looking for is no longer in print.

I checked my local comic shop today and they have volumes all of Kodocha except volumes 4 and 5. You can't order online from them, but you can order over the phone. I can find their website for you and PM it to you if you are interested. |

I would be eternally grateful to anyone who could sell me/ tell me where to find-
The box that came with the Excel Saga Im-Perfect Collection. No DVDs, just want the box. (Maybe that plastic wrap-around bit too.) the pencil board that came with the first run of Strawberry Marshmallow vol. 1. It's the only one in the series I didn't manage to get the pencilboard for.

I see a bunch of volume 1(6 ep) and some complete collections. But no volume 2, which should also have 6 episodes. Total of 12 episodes. I even see a listing that has 3 volumes listed together(which doesn't make sense to me). It seems I will have to buy a complete collection if I want the second disc to this series. But if I do that I think I will get it from here. Thanks for looking though, if you do happen to come across the single volume two I would love to hear about it. |

Would this be the volume 2 Here? Sorry but this is another series I don't know. It looks like there are only two hits, but maybe one of them's worthwile. ETA: did a new search with only the DVD title "Nightwalker Eternal Darkness" instead of "Nightwalker volume 2" and got a few more hits: Nightwalker Eternal Darkness
This would be a lot harder to find, a box with no disks. Good luck getting it though; the only reason I originally bought that series was just for the box. |

Yes those are indeed the discs I am looking for. However all of those are going to be coming from Amazon Marketplace, and every time I have ordered from the Marketplace it turns out to be a bootleg. So I am wary of anything from there. However, your post did give me an idea, and I changed my search methods and I found a store that is still selling Vol.2 brand new. It seems to be the only store that is still selling it new. So thanks, I wouldn't have found it without reading your post. I don't know anything about that company though, are they reputable. All and all that will save me three dollars than if I bought the complete set. But I hate having to buy something that I already have just to get the second half. You know what I mean? Thanks again. |
