Ya, an otaku's self-fulfilling fantasy alright.

I like to think the government just threw him into a nest of dragons to remove useless parasites from society, and as such he'll be the first of many ''evangelists''.

Sadly, that won't be the case.

Kei Oikawa (Minami-ke: Okaeri ) is directing the series anime studio feel. Naruhisa Arakawa (Kingdom, MAOYU) is supervising the scripts and Takashi Mamezuka (Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father!) is designing the characters.

Sakaki's writings already spawned several other anime such as Polyphonica, Scrapped Princess, and Strait Jacket.

Interesting. Sounds like an all-star staff. Looking forward to this.

My first question whenever I hear the word "fantasy": Will there be dragons? It doesn't even seem related to the premise but the answer here is "yes". Ok, so far, so good.

And that's our lead in the background; Didn't even notice him so that's par for course. And the background's more lovely and "moe" than the female leads. That's probably good, right?

One problem: I'm not too big on the idea of elves, even half-elves, as maids. Seems weird to me. Oh right, Japan and "halfies".

Outbreak Company's story centers around Shinichi Kano, a "thoroughbred class" otaku with a light novelist father and an erotic game artist mother.

I can't imagine any kind of situation in which these kinds of people would actually have a kid together. This dude's parents sound more interesting than he does!

It's alright, they're not human.

Something is really wrong with the designs that I didn't find them cute. Maybe it's the eyes.

Did anyone else look at the elf maid girl and think: "Asuna?"
