Another enjoyable episode. AYAYA!!~
I also love how the show recognizes that they're anime characters before they're British or Japanese with the eyes thing. Though a comrade who normally hates cute shows like this watched it with me and offered up some of his trademark horrifying observations which turn any comedy into a twisted tale. spoiler[ -Karen's mom doesn't budge an inch in that entire flashback. This is because she's dead. To hide the pain from Karen her dad had the mom stuffed, Karen is just blissfully ignorant but some day she will learn what taxidermy is... ] I'm never going to be able to watch this scene again. |

Jealousy des! Something I am not sure of was a comment where Karen thought they might be keeping the distance because she had slanted eyes, but I always that people commented the other way around. Karen is interesting. |

I allow myself one "cute girls" show per season, and seeing one Japanese company's portrayal of "foreignness" via this genre was enough to win an American like me over. I feel a bit superficial writing that, but I won't lie.

Episode 4
I thought that there was a slight translation error earlier and that they were actually in Japanese Middle school based on their designs, and how different they looked to her sister who wears a different uniform. But they said they were 15 and thus in the Japanese High school age, so that means her sister just goes to a different school, I don't see that too often in anime. It tends to confuse me as I used to High school being a 5 to 6 year thing that is only has a minor separation between the junior and senior years. |

You would think that the fact that Karen comes from England would mean that she would have a low heat tolerance. The yuri levels kind of reach yuyushiki levels at times. |
