I know AS is waiting untill the fall to show new episodes of anime but have they abandon the idea of showing it on weekdays? Or is they going back to the original format of showing it on Saturdays.

they aren't helping them selves in the ratings lately. And I don't know who is incharge of programming but when the revoloution comes He will be the first person I personally throw up anainst the wall. 12 ounce mouse???
Then they go and stick E7 in a horrid time slot with it being the only new thing on there network. great job!

E7 isn't the only new thing on their network . Sounds like you only pay attention to their anime lineup, which in that case, still no, Bleach and Trinity Blood both premiere this Saturday and they have to make room for both of those at an early time, something has to get pushed back to get the best ratings.

Don't remind me! I was watching E7 every sunday morning at its 3am showing since I have to be at work at 4am. Now that its pushed back, I must wait for the DVD releases and avoid spoilers in order to watch it.
Well, hopefully Bleach and Trinity Blood are both to my likings and stay at a reasonable time. But ofcourse, I'm only speaking for myself here...

Okay, you guys need to read the subject. It doesn't say anything about Saturday.
Anyways it seems like they have. But what was the last anime they aired new episodes of weekdays? Besides the experiment that was Shin-Chan, which I absolutely loved by the way. Were the last new episodes on weekdays when they showed 1 per day? Samurai Champloo, Inuyasha, and some other show aired this way.
I don't see why they would want to considering 1 episode per week goes a lot further than 4 a week. Trinity Blood would have only lasted 6 weeks if it was aired daily, while it'll last 24 weeks airing if aired once on the weekend. Sounds smart on their part if you ask me. With Futurama and Family Guy being the highest rated shows, why should they care about anime?

Well there going to lose Futurama next year anyways, so here hoping for more anime. Plus I don't know about the rest of you but they show Futurama so much that I am getting sick of it.

I have the boxed sets and I still watch it on [as]. It's just one of those great comedy shows where you need to pay attention to get the jokes... so in other words not for everyone... which is basically every show out there. People like it, and people hate it, but the [as] ratings seem to be leaning towards people liking it.
So no more Futurama on [as]? Are you sure? When new episodes of Family Guy came out, [as] still aired the old Family Guy episodes.

The only thing I can think of is that Comedy Central didn't want to share the show with anyone else when they start to air the new episodes of Futurama next year. I'm sure they'll be showing the older episodes before the new ones. I can't wait!

Yeah, the only problem with Comedy Central is their rediculous number of comercial breaks, I think they average about 4 per half hour of television. Oh, well...it'll be worth it for new Futurama.
Anyway, back on topic. The reason that they don't show any new shows on weeknights is because that causes you to run out of new episodes a lot faster than one per week does. It's a lot better in the long run for them to do it the way they're doing it now, besides, shows almost always get dropped on weeknights after their first run or at least a seasons worth of episodes is shown.
