Not quite related, but the article calls Brave Story a "horror flick." I saw it in Japan, and in no way does it even come close. It may be nitpicky, but if they can't get that right it makes me skeptical about anything this newspaper might say.

Anyhow, Miyazaki Goro seems to be overly antagonistic about the whole thing. It seems everytime they interview him he has to point out his relationship problems with his father. I don't think that's going to help him escape his father's shadow. Confused

And what show is preventing Gedo Senki from being shown here? Just curious.

I'm pretty sure it's the Earthsea miniseries that came out on the Sci-Fi channel. It probably didn't do well enough to warrant more of them (thank the maker), but it's what's keeping Gedo Senki from being released here at the moment.
