I hope this will come to more U.S. theaters, and more spread out across the country as well, than those recut and touched up theatrical versions of the tv anime. Well, not being in school anymore, maybe it won't matter so much, but still. The only theaters "close" to St. Louis were KC and Chicago, and those ain't really close at all. (And Chicago traffic... )

I heard the first two movies came to Buffalo while I was in Japan and saw them there. I really hope this third movie comes to Buffalo, too. I'll buy one or two tickets (for a friend) immediately if they do!

I really hope they open these in a broader selection of areas, but since I wouldn't expect them to open in areas the first two never showed(I can still hope, though - traveling to Houston's expensive).

I lay in wait, anticipating the dates and theater locations announcements for U.S.

Does anyone know how much the tickets will cost? How much were the tickets for the first 2 movies?

Tickets were for a seating of the two movies together.. in LA I believe it was $25. $20-25 I don't remember.
However that is for two movies and a poster.

Making it to the screen in in the same year with a late October release date is impressive! I doubt it will be in my town though...

Chicago, Milwaukee, or Madison in late December/early January would be ideal for me so I can see it with family.

And only LA gave the poster to everyone that came. Everywhere else, it was only a handful, if anyone at all.
In any case, the ticket price will depend on the venue, but most places will probably be in that $20-25 range.

I don't think it'll be as much as the first showing, since this isn't a double feature; it'll probably just be as much as a normal ticket.

Yay! I guess it's not too surprising they're doing this considering how well the other films did, but it's good to have a confirmation of it. Looking forward to seeing the third film, because the other screening was really fun. I hope they have some new exclusive merchandise. I regret not buying one of those keychains last time.
