So, "HD remake of the original Final Fantasy?"
Again, if it isn't one of the SNES or PS1, I'm not interested as much. With our luck, it will be XII or the like... Still hoping for something like a remake of VI or VII, as they love teasing us with tech demos and telling us that it isn't likely to be remade with better graphics. As a friend mentioned to me, it is probably because these remakes are Square-Enix's trump cards to pull themselves from bankruptcy/failing and until then, SE will continue to make more games that are far from the original Final Fantasy. This means that the company is trying new things for each installment and not really going back on what has worked in the past. |

Well I mean XII is the only other one they could really do this for.

I'm starting to agree with AlphaOmegaSin in that SE is just holding that stick hope if front of fans desperate for a FF7 remake.

FF XII will be awesome redone in HD. Besides the amazing story in FFX, I had much more fun in FF XII.
I wouldn't want them to remake FF7 anytime soon anyway. They have too much stuff going on, and XII will be easier since it's similar to X in models and such. |

Maybe last. It's the worst selling modern FF game. And I'm not sure how good PSX graphics would look in HD. |

Oh please square enix make FF Xii to be hd remaster so I can Play it on my vita like playing ff12 taking it with me all time would be awesome

Does anyone know if X is at least the international version like kingdom hearts in the KH compilation? I know they added an optional bosses in the International version called Judgement or something like that who is supposed to be ridiculously insane.
At this point I have given up hope for Square to ever get back to its glory days. After 13 and the cannibalization of versus to 15; I think all we can be content with is an occasional numbered FF and an occasional cheap remake. But you can pretty much bury any new ip or hope of bringing back Mana/Chrono/etc. |

It makes me laugh such requests are putting the burden on PS3 owners to bolster the sales while closing off one of the largest markets out there with 360 owners.
Good luck, PS3 owners, that you can actually provide enough sales of FFX so that you can get the game you really want re-released in HD. I can't believe Square-Enix gets dumber by the year. |
