Is the top $22 Cowboy Bebop Perfect Collection a bootleg?

Yes, it's a bootleg. There's no way in heck you'd ever find a 26 episode series on a 3-disc. 24 on 4 discs, yes. 12 on 2 discs, yes. But I've never seen 26 on 3. Read this for how to spot bootlegs.

Dang it do you know anywhere else I could buy Perfect Sessions at $30 tops? Is this a bootleg?

That's also a bootleg. The 'Fx' logo proves it. Read what Tony K. says about how to spot them.

Trust me, you can NOT find a legal version of Bebop Perfect Sessions for $30 tops. You will only find it on eBay, and I'm going to bet the lowest bid is around $150-200. It is out of print, very hard to find, and extremely expensive.

Just wait for Bandai to release another box set. If a crappy series like Juubei-chan can get an Anime Legends release, I'm sure they'll try to milk Bebop in some form or another, eventually.
