The two of you as well as alot of others should try reading the front page of ANN for the latest news. It would stop you from having to make pointless post's asking about things that have been covered in the news. The fore mentioned artical can be found here

animenewsnetwork.com/convention.php?id=330

Also this is not a download service it is streaming video. You will not be able to save it on disk.
I mean no offence by pointing this out Wink

I'm very excited to see The Prince of Tennis dubbed. I only hope they do a better translation job than has been done with the manga.

They reversed the character names, so names are STILL giving me trouble (i.e. they call him Shuusuke instead of Fuji - and they do this with EVERYONE - Ryoma is the only one I don't get lost on). There's the Drive B to Drive V debicle, which was ridiculous, but in volume 14, they upped themselves by translating the Tezuka Zone as Kunimitsu's Domain. I'm not really sure where they pulled that one from. They also translated "Inui Juice" to something else, but I forget what.

And then some moves are simply not changed. Fuji's Tsubame Gaeshi is actually Tsubame Gaeshi. It's a fairly inconsistant translation regarding names and moves, so it takes me more brain power to register what's going on than it would if they would've just not screwed with it.

Why not just watch Wimbledon? From what I can tell, it's the same thing...

Also, and this is a little further off-topic, what possessed them to make an anime about goddamned TENNIS?? I mean, what's next? Golf? Ping-pong? Pinball?

Blech....

they alredy have a golf anime it's called dan-doh and the creator made a manga about tennis becuase he played tennis and it became one of the most populer manga in japan so they made an anime out of it and it was also a big hit.

::shrugs:: I do like sports anime, and The Prince of Tennis remains my favorite (even if the movie was one of the worst anime ever made). It puts in a great cast of characters and has some very exciting shonen-style matches. Of course, I always liked the in-between episodes of the players lives, so it's got a decent slice of life addition to it, even if most of these episodes are just goofy. Laughing

And there is golf and ping-pong anime. Of course, neither would be/are the weirdest anime out there. Do watch The Prince of Tennis before deciding it was a bad idea to make an anime about "goddamned tennis."

Anime creators are smart so they will find a way to make the anime to not totally focus on Tennis. And, it will be good to see a little bit of competition on other means except fighting for a change.

I like this. Toonami Jetstream sounds pretty cool. Good thing it's free too. I'm particularly interested in Samurai Jack and Hikaru no Go. Samurai Jack was awesome when it used to air. It was probably my favorite non-anime action cartoon show when I was younger. Also, I've heard some good things about Hikaru no Go. I think I'll also check out MÄR.
