Hey everyone. i need some help with buying a new great anime box set. I was going to buy the Complete Box Set of Trigun, as i said somewhere else, but it was a bootleg for $40 and its actualy around $100 dollars. So i just need a few recommendations on a really great anime box set that is a good price, like $80 dollars tops. Also, any kind of anime thats good that you know will do really, except for the only-romance type. I'm having trouble finding one and i thought you could help me. Any help or reccomendations at all would be greatly appriciated.

Just in case any of you who posted beyond the fifth post are wondering what happened to them, I decided to delete those in order to clear up some confusion and to put out a small fire, so to speak.

Well, RightStuf is currently having a Media Blasters sale, 40% off. Here are links to a couple of series that are worth checking out, IMO.

Otogi Zoshi - Great series if you like swordsman action. Although I heard the story makes a drastic change halfway through, of course I mean in story. Although I have only seen the 1st volume, it´s one of those series on my ¨to buy list¨, but I´ll probably wait until an ¨economy set¨ is released.

Berserk - Is another fan favorite with swordsman action and a lot of gore. Although you have to take in mind the series was based on a manga that is still being compelted, so the anime was stopped, but it still tells a great story. There are 2 sets available. One with all the individual releases, more expensive, and a brick set with the same disc count but smaller case.

I´ll try to list some more later.

Thanks a lot. I'm going to go see whats on sale at RightStuf right now, thanks. Beserk looks really cool, and a lot of people are talking about it so i want to check it out. Otagi Zoshi sounds good too, i'd probably get it after i complete Ruroken, thats enough samurai action for me. Thanks again!

I'm going to get Berserk. I've wanted to buy it ever since I watched it. Saving 40% plus free shipping comes to a grand total of $84 and some change. $125 is normal price.

Question though. The 125 is for the premium box which contains all the DVD's (1-6) right? The Box Art plus DVD 1 which contains Episodes 1-5 is just the box with one DVD and you have to buy the other 5 DVD's to complete the box set right?

So the cheaper better route to go would be the premium Box Set and save some serious cash.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

P.S. Art Box with DVD 1 is 30.00
DVD 2-6 is 85.00 85+30=115 (Discounts included). Am I Correct here?

THe premium collection for Berserk is DVDs 1-6, with the artbox included (the artbox that was originally only available with DVD 1 + box). So if you buy that, you won't have to buy any other DVDs, which lead me to-

Get the cheaper economy set if you want to save money. It's all six discs, but in a smaller package and at a cheaper price.

If you care about how it looks on your shelf or you are a colelctor, the box of war (Premium Collection) is the way to go, but if you just want the series just to own it, for a lot cheaper I might add, go with the economy pack.
