Whoa this definetly is cool I can't wait to hopefully stop by and see this when it does open. I am totally down with Karaoke one of my favorite pass time. Although that drive to LA is a pain in my rear.......
Till next time,

in addition to their location in New York City, which routinely screens both live-action asian cinema and anime.

They sometimes screen anime... it's mostly live-action stuff, honestly. Sure, any anime movie that gets a release is screened there, but it also turns up at other theaters around NYC. I don't think they've shown Advent Children there, although it got screened in other cities.

This is old news actually. Downtown Los Angeles has a newspaper called "Downtown News" or something similiar to that......theres a new one every week on Mondays out here. They had this very same article on that newspaper months ago. Anyway this is off topic but i'm glad to see that the old Linda Lea theatre is getting a face lift. It is also helping that area by getting rid of the homeless and drug dealers in that area. They already opened the CalTrans building down the street a few months ago and just down the street where this theatre is gonna open they built lofts. They opened the new Little Tokyo Library and they renovated an abandoned Catholic church nearby. You might say that this whole area was practically nothing because it's true, that street itself was creepy most of the time. This isn't the only area of Downtown L.A. that was abondoned for years.....most of Downtown L.A. is getting a face lift after so many years and of course, a riot in 1992 that damaged a lot of forgotten property.

Underneath is an image of the old Linda Lea Japanese films theatre that will be re-opening in February 2007 mentioned in this article. It's minutes away from the Little Tokyo area but not so close to Chinatown if you are on foot:

Yes, that is what the property looks like as we speak. But remember, most of Downtown L.A. is getting a face lift so imagine what this place will look like by the start of next year. See ya'll there too.
