Hi,
I would appriciate it if you could give me some recommendations for some anime. Here are some ideas of what I enjoy, and maybe you can work of from there:

I enjoyed Kodomo no Omocha for lots of different reasons. I love the comedy and hyperactive part of it, but I also adore the drama in the series.

I liked Hare Noche Guu for the all-around crazy and kookyness of the show.

I also really like the Studio Ghibli Films for there great storyline.

I don't really know how to describe it, but I loved Satoshi Kon's Millennium Actress and Tokyo Godfathers. I also like the action and suspense and drama in Metropolis.

And finally, I liked Nanaka 6/17 because of the nice, lighthearted feel of the series.

I hoped you can help me! Also, please nothing above the "Teenager" rating.

THANKS! Very Happy

hmmm... comedy and hyperactiveness and randomness...

the first shows that pop into my head are FLCL (OVA) and Excel Saga (26 episode series). I found both hilarious for the outrageous characters. FLCL is rated Teenager but Excel Saga is rated Mature (not sure why because I don't remember it containing either sex or drugs, but it does sport some extreme comical violence).

If you enjoy comedy you'll probably love School Rumble as well. The show isn't as hyperactive and random as Kodocha but still extremely funny. It's basically a high-school comedy anime.

Forgot to mention, but I have seen Azumanga Daioh.
But I agree it is one of the funniest and awesomenesed (sp?) anime that I have seen.

I would have recommend Azumanga Daioh but it's actually a fairly sedate show. Most of the comedy relies on timing and there's a lot of long pauses so I figured it wouldn't suit someone who's looking for hyperactive shows.
