Well, mine's defective. distorted and cut off images and much skipping. it's not my DVD player because every other DVD I've tried works perfectly fine. Anyone else having issues? I'm glad I supported Ai no Kusabi and I'm glad I've already seen this remake but still. Darn you, MB.

Well Crap, I bought/mailed this to someone as a present. She hasn't got it yet.
Hope they all aren't like that...
Thanks for the heads up.

Same here. I'm waiting for mine to ship out from RightStuf. I'll have to make a point to watch it ASAP so I can exchange it if necessary.

Yeah, try playing that disc in another player.
I had a similar issue with Queen's Blade blu-ray. My player said it couldn't read one of the discs. And it was only that disc; I tried lots of other blu-rays and they all played fine, including Queen's Blade 2.
I updated the player's firmware and exchanged the "defective" disc twice with the same results. In the end, I bought a new player, and that solved everything.

Ah yes-the seemingly unending cycle of "you've gotta update your bluray's firmware because of the bluray duplicators constant screwing around with the discs" delimma.

After I made this post I thought I should try the DVD in my computer, thanks for suggesting that. Looks like it works fine on my computer for now but it still screws up and has parts of the menu cut off on my regular DVD player. Maybe everyone will just have to watch it on their computers? Harhar.
