I've played Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3. i beat them and i loved them. I probably cant get the ps3 so i was wondering if anyone knew if they were gonna make Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of Patriots a comic/manga.

I've never heard of three, but parts one and two both have comics in the US from IDW. I honestly can't imagine reading Kojima's insanely conveluted plots without the cinematic storytelling and actual gameplay to keep my interest. I'm guessing a big draw of the comic is Ashley Wood's art, which like I said, lacks the cinematic presentation that made the games actually worth sitting through. |

Well in that case then they wouldn`t be manga.

1 and 2 have comic series, 3 doesn't. There is no MGS manga. MGS4 might have a comic book series, but...uh...Why? Just buy a PS3 when the price drops and play the game.

How many years is that going to take? I'm actually hoping it takes a beating this year so they'll drop the price quicker. |

I'd estimate it'll have a price drop around Christmas '07, but don't take my word for it. Besides, MGS4 doesn't come out until around then anyways... |

As for a comic/manga/novel/digital comic, chances are that you won't see it for while after the game has been released. No point in releasing a comic that will spoil the game. |

Yeah, I really don't see the virtue in renting a system if I'm going to want to play multiple games for it. I'm really not that much of a hardcore gamer, so I can't imagine paying much more than $300 for a system (maybe 400). |

Kojima said MGS4 wouldn't be shown in playable form until E3 2007. Thus, it's not going to be released until after June 2007...Since it's pretty clear that it won't be immediately after E3, logic would dictate that it will come out in the fall... It won't be out in Spring 2007. |

Well if your into Metal Gear Solid, and you happen to have a PSP here something you might want to check out. Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novel it's basically a graphic novel that has clickable items that leads to more information being found. That way it's kinda like active reading and there are unlockables. Not all that bad in my opinion, that would be cool if there were more Manga like this.
Till next time, Delta Kiral |
