I've been searching for good anime. So, I was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions. I like series with obvious romance. I'm also interested in vampire series (without the gore), sorcery series, and other fantasy series. It would be great if anyone could suggest one or more anime's that they watched and are interested in pertaining to my specifications.

Greetings and welcome. Three suggestions:

1. Take a look at this thread. You might be able to find something before we deliver any recommendation.

2. How about telling us what you have already seen and like or dislike? Thus we won't recommend titles you've already watched.

3. Use colored and/or bold text to emphasize part(s) of your post, not the entire post. Emphasizing everything = emphasizing nothing.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've already watched the following anime's:

-Inuyasha
-Fruits Basket
-Trigun
-Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles
-DBZ (All including DB)
-Kyou Kara Maou!
-Karin
-DN Angel
-Sailor Moon (all)
-Tokyo Mew Mew
-School Rumble
-Descendants of Darkness
-Gravitation
-Fate Stay Night
-Fushigi Yuugi
-Fullmetal Alchemist
-Naruto
-Rorouni Kenshin

What I am interested in is romance! I love anime's with a good romantic plot! I do not like things with ample blood and gore however! I like to keep those at the minimum. *is squemish* I also don't like things that are overly angsty.

Yes, that's good advice...

Anyway, Tsukihime, Luanr Legend is one series that seems closeish to what you're looking for. Although there are a couple of bloody bits, (3 IIRC) for a vampire series that's very little. It's really more of a stroy-driven romance - based off a doujin (=dating sim?) game, if that gives you any idea of what it'll be like. Oh, and it's done by the same people who made Fate/Stay Night.

Vision of Escaflowne is a solid fantasy/romance series in a very classical build; "a normal high school girl is magically transported to a strange world, where she meets a handsome prince..." You get the idea Wink .

Kare Kano and Saikano are two of the best romance series IMO, but they have quite a bit of angst, so I don't know if they're quite what you're looking for.

Finally, if you're looking for fantasy then the Slayers series is worth checking out. Fireballs, magic swords, demons and all that, but mostly just a really funny series.

That's it, off to bed for me...

According to the analysis of Dormcat's Anime Profiler (TM), I'd say Ah! My Goddess fits your criteria perfectly: good romance (both comedic and dramatic), magic and fantasy, plus a little bit of action once in a while. I am confident to call it a long-time favorite of most anime fans.

You've also mentioned vampires. However, other than Karin, most vampiric titles contain some degree of gore. You've watched Fate/stay night, so I wonder if you would be interested in Tsukihime, the tale between a beautiful female vampire and a boy with special eyesight, created by the same group of people who brought F/SN to us.

(Edit: I see Ramadahl beats me)

Another series with vampiric romance is Vampire Princess Miyu, although I've never seen it and am not able to tell you whether it contains too much gory content for you. However, its manga was originally targeted for girls, so I assume the amount of blood and gore should be limited.

For non-vampiric romance without violence... there's a ton. So far the best romantic story I have ever seen in anime is Koi Kaze. It's realistic, it's heartbreaking, and its music is gripping. It may or may not be your call due to its spoiler[incest] plot line. For a more common harem romance with some fan service yet still has a good romantic story, Ai Yori Aoshi would be my choice, for every female character is very adorable and likable. Chobits (by CLAMP, creator of Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles) adds sci-fi factors into the tried formula, yet it still is an enjoyable series. Methinks its manga is better, though. Finally, if you are ready for tears, find Kanon or be prepared to expect its remake this autumn.

[nitpicking]May I say; one anime or two anime, not "animes" or "anime's." But if you must add an "s" to the word, do it as "animes," not "anime's."[/nitpicking]

Hmm, where can I get my hands on the software for Dormcat's Anime Profiler (tm)? Anime smile Good thing the list got posted, because Karin was going to be my first recommendation out of the gate.

They're not the same thing -- 同人紙* (doujinshi) are basically fan-made, self-published works (manga format, generally) often based on established characters/stories, though they can be original. Many doujinshi are pornographic in nature, and there's a fair amount of yaoi stuff for all the fangirls out there. A doujin game would be a game made by fans and not "official" creators, though I'm not sure how that would work. Watch Comic Party and Comic Party: Revolution for a fairly decent education on doujinshi.
As for the original post, I'm going to mention Please Teacher! and Please Twins! -- they're fairly light stories with "obvious romance," and Please Teacher! has some sci-fi elements if you're looking for things out of the ordinary. I should warn you that these are both male-oriented series with a fair amount of fanservice -- I'm going out on a limb and guessing that you're a girl, given the username and some of the anime listed, like Gravitation and Descendants of Darkness.
If you like Magical Girl series like Sailor Moon, you might want to try Prétear, a 13-episode series with transformations, evil monsters, several romantic plotlines and an angst level set on Medium.
I've recently finished Diamond Daydreams, which is aimed more at guys but doesn't have obvious fanservice; it's a collection of separate stories about separate girls of varying ages, all with some kind of romantic/heartbroken situation. There are some sad moments, but the series is very positive and uplifting overall.
Also, Angelic Layer is a very fun/cute series that features high-tech doll battles in tournaments, but has more focus on the characters' relationships, including some junior-high romance. Nothing too serious, but it's entertaining to watch all the same. There is a bit of angst, but if series like Fruits Basket and Fushigi Yuugi didn't cause an angst overdose for you, AL won't either.

Hm...A non-angsty, obvious, blood-free, well-written romance (that was a handful!) series. I don't know of any with fantasy that hasn't already been generated by the Dormcat's Anime Profiler (TM) yet. I'll have to recommend REC. It's about a seiyuu who meets an ordinary company employee, and there's very obvious romance, no blood, relatively little angst, and I think it is pretty well written. It's really short though, only 9 half-length (12 minute) episodes. But it's still pretty good. Umai-ki!
