The wonderful director who made those spectacular adaptations of Higurashi, Umineko and Arcana Famiglia? The one who made one of the most badass otome heroines into a boring doormat?
My expectations are so high

A-Arcana Famiglia? Why? WHY? Why can't they choose GOOD staff for once? Do they want the anime to fail THAT much?
Let's just hope the person doing the series composition can save the manga. I'm already antsy about the fact that Machida Touko, the person who did the script for the horror which was AMNESIA is going to do the Series Composition for KARNEVAL. Seriously, assign a fujoshi/bishie lover show DECENT staff. PLEASE. Shueisha gave KuroBas to decent staff and look what a whooping success that was. |

I wish the author would add some female interest (for William) because I am not a fan of ho yay, and hell even Dantalion has one; that said this a really good work that has a good supernatural elements, pretty likeable characters, and an interesting story so far.

Is it just me, or are there a lot of ZERO-SUM manga adaptions lately? Wild Adapter, Karneval, Makai Ouji . . .
07 Ghost, Amatsuki, and Saiyuki have already been adapted. Hopefully this will lead to a bunch of great new anime for the viewers, and licenses and relicenses for the fans, and a better image for Shoujo and Josei over all. |
