What are your thoughts on FMP: Overload!

I've currently read all of the volumes( 1-5 )

For me, FMP: Overload is pretty good. It has a good mixture of comedy, romance and action. The quality of the art wasnt top notch but everything else is fine.

The only down side i had with it was that i started to feel that the sequences and events began to get abit repetitive. Does anybody feel the same? or is it just me? Embarassed

I'm an FMP fan, so I bought volume 1 when I saw it in the store. However since I later found this was written by not the same person who wrote the original series, I was a little disappointed. I give credit for an interesting comedic spin on an already successful show, but err alot of this just comes off to me as fluff... be it comedic or romantic.

In other words we ain't really gonna see any crucial character development in Overload!, now are we?
