Acorrding to this site, Naruto and Oban Star Racers are showing on Jetix in the United Kingdom, I was outraged when I found out that Naruto is going to show on Jetix in the U.K. because Jetix is a channle for kids ages 6-11 and as a Shonen Jump fanatic, I'm worried that they might do way too many edits on Naruto (since the show has bloody violence and some adult innuendoes). Curse them. Curse them all. Remember what happen to One Piece, well I scared that Jetix will do some extreme censoring on Naruto and turn it into a bloodless anime.

Agreed. The licensee in the U.K. might not edit things like 4profit, oops...sorry, 4kid$ edits things here. Who does license Naruto in the U.K.? |

I hate to break this to you, but all anime licensing companies are doing it for profit. They're not charity organizations. If there were no potential for profit, then the companies wouldn't exist to begin with. |

I wouldn't worry too much myself. I'm not all that familiar with Jetix UK, but the impression that I've gotten is that they're less likely to edit a show down like their US counterpart. Plus some parts of the show will be pretty much impossible to tone down anyway.
Best just to hope that it gets a later, primetime slot. |

Why are you "worried" about something so trivial like this, anyway? Even if it does get extra edits than the U.S. version, you'll still have your precious fansubs, uncut DVDs, and the manga, which you would most likely still watch regardless of the quality of the dub since your whole post screams "Narutard", anyway. If you don't like it, just turn the TV off when the dub comes on. It's just a freaking cartoon, for god's sake.

Well, actually there hasn't been any announcement at all for the release of uncut DVDs or manga in the UK... |

Wait...Bloodless Anime? That's not right! Naruto with no blood is like no syrup on pancakes! It's outrages! They can't do that.....Anime is supposed to have blood in it! wahhhhh.

Umm... I read in Neo magazine that Jetix are going to show it twice everyday - one at 6.30pm and one at 9pm and apparantly, the 9pm showing may be japanese w/subs
However, it also says that no plans are finalised so that may not happen... |

I think Noir had a little blood in it, just a little here and there, but by no means was driven by it. Course I haven't watched it in a quite a while, and I really don't notice that kind of thing when I watch that particular anime. |
