Greed Island Final is the last part that has been animated so far. They've been animating the series piecemeal for a while now though, so while there's been no news about it, it's possible that they'll animate the next arc eventually. Keep an eye out.

I thought the HXH was done for the animation, there were news saying that HXH would not be continued to be animated, but the manga will still continue...
Not sure but maybe its true...

Holy bejesus.... It never even occured to me to check the manga to see if it went on past the end of the show. I guess it's just because the show stopped... then they released one OVA... then another.... then ANOTHER... and then no more. I guess I jsut assumed that's all there was to the series. Wow, I feel retarded, guess I'm gonna have to go get that then if there is more.

Oh by the way, if you've just heard about Hunter X Hunter or are curious about it because of this thread, I highly recommend watching it. It is an absolutely awesome show: there are no filler episodes, it stays true to the manga (from what I've heard), the action is top-notch and it never gets Dragonballish. Some of the most interesting character personalities I've seen in anime are in Hunter X Hunter. It hasn't been realeased or licensed in North America but it deserves to be. But those of you who have the know-how to watch unlicensed anime, will know how to find this show, just watch it in the right order starting with the original TV series (very important - do not skip episodes).

try to look for it for the manga.. i just download it from a site and read it from my computer. i don't know if you can post a site here. it's really good though i don't think they're finished with the manga yet or will still continue making the animation.. they're probably still making it (the manga). you should read it . i love it even though i prefer anime but i can't help that *sigh*.

Hunter x Hunter is my favorite anime. To be honest, I usually end up liking shojo more than anything, but nothing compares to HH for me. It was the first anime I ever watched not on Adult Swim in random order. Spur of the moment, I looked at movies at Half Priced Books, and I found the first 3 Dvd's. Hunter x Hunter is the reason I watch anime.
Ok, that had nothing to do with the topic, so maybe I should post something else...
Although I have heard that the manga goes beyond the anime, I personally liked ending the anime at that point. It completely the purpose stated at the beginning, so that satified me. Don't get me wrong, I always look for more HH and am ready to read the entire manga, but I was satisfied with the anime ending.
However, if you want a little more, I recommend the HH musicals. But, you can't go in with too serious of an attitude. It is live action, with the main characters played by their voice actors, I believe. Anyway, I got a great laugh out of this and any HH is sheer enjoyment. It's cheesy as all get out, but that is what makes it funny.
