I hope the sequel films soon. If they get to make a third part, I wonder how they'd handle the Tomoe flashback. It could be its own movie with how long it is. Maybe they should do a live action Trust & Betrayal before doing the third arc.

Is this movie even getting a sequel? I'm not sure it performed well enough to merit one.

It did pretty well, but I haven't heard any talk of sequels yet. It deserves to continue, though. They made a good movie out of the weakest part of the comics, so I'd love to see how they handle the good stuff.

so ta-da for it but there still one probs on this phils area video stores THEY STILL DON'T HAVE MANY ANIME DVD-BLU TO GET ON IT.


really sure it's bother til now really cause from sources i got these phils video stores barely or don't got anime dvd-blu sets.


yea blame the MTRCB or phils tv-dvd management or region code effect aka region 3 area don't sell anime dvd-blu set.

either way sure this might hmm those but NO BUY TIL ANIME DVD-BLU SETS ARE IN PHILS VIDEO STORES.

THIS. I'd love to see this so much. The Tomoe 'arc' is my favorite in the manga, and Trust and Betrayal is probably the best OVA I've ever seen. I can't begin to imagine what the live-action film could be like... I wonder if they would frame it like they did in the anime, or follow the manga's more linear approach? Kenshin having inner monologues and being less "dark" are also things that could carry over from the manga.
