This is awesome! Kaji has done amazingly in the past few years, so I'm glad he won. I'm happy Ono Yuuki was recognized, too. He's really come into his own recently. So has Tomatsu Haruka and Ohara Sayaka. I also really enjoyed Yamamoto Kazutomi in Tari Tari, so it'll be cool to see where he goes from here.

I'm not as familiar with a lot of the older seiyuu, but Iwata Mitsuo and Ogata Megumi definitely deserved their awards. I like how Kamiya is still a fan favorite, too. Smile

Congratulations to all the winners! I am especially thrilled that Suwabe won an award and none of the results really took me by surprise.

...I swear I was joking when I said (on Twitter) what would happen if Kamiya won the Most Votes Award again LoL. Glad to see my favorite seiyuu still racking up the votes. I wouldn't be surprised if they made this award because they couldn't ignore how many votes he was getting. Might as well rename it to the Kamiya Hiroshi Award because I can see him winning it for the next few years LoL.

PS I said it in the previous thread as well but Nozawa Masako is now with Aoni Production.

I love Kaji, but what was the role that gave him the win?

I believe it was several roles that won him this award

Magi is my guess. I don't really follow whats popular in Japan too often but I see Magi stuff all over Pivx's daily top 100, every day.

edit: I just noticed Best New Actress and Best Supporting were also in Magi. Probably a safe bet Magi played a major role in these awards

Really glad to see that a few of the seiyuu from Yuru Yuri were able to win some awards. Nearly all the main cast of that show were relatively new and they all showed an immense amount of talent, so I hope they continue to get more roles and recognition.

A big congratulations to all the winners. It's nice when you see some favorites among them. Katsuji Mori, hell yeah, he's the goddamn Tiger Mask (which is interesting since they also named one of the awards after the original Tiger Mask seiyu) and there's nothing he can't do! :D

Probably a combination of things. Magi and K were probably the main reasons though. Anyway as for the awards i more or less agree. Surprised that yuki ono won any awards but after how successful kuroko was i guess it makes sense. And really glad kaori won best newcomer award. she's been doing a great job as alladin in magi.

Ah yes, there is no way that Nyaruko-san would have been anywhere near as interesting if it wasn't for Asumin's boisterous and energetic voice. I've watched this MAD more times than I can count.

They used to, but then probably realized it didn't make too much sense. Like I think when Kamiya won the Best Supporting Actor Award, among the roles they listed was Itoshiki Nozomu from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, which should be a main character and not a supporting character.
