I ended up doing the Elite Subscription thing so I could watch Haganai NEXT, but the last week their web service has turned to total s**t. None of the videos will play (except for the Hulu-based ones with ads every 3 minutes) and even regular web page renderings take 10-30 seconds.
I'd post about this on their forum but one look and it is obvious that the site is out of control and subscribers are leaving left and right. Anyone here know what the story is? |

I blame Hulu for this mostly but I also give Funimation some of the hate.
Anyone else watch Puchimas on Hulu? 2 minutes of commercials for a 2 1/2 minute short. They can't even put them in between the main content and the credits, they drop them right in the middle of a dialogue. |

I really like Funimation...but I don't watch their shows at their site.
I watch them on this site. Never had a problem. |

I'd watch videos on Funimation's site... Except I live in Canada and Hulu hates us.
This is why piracy will never die. |

Funimation has terrible web design. I'm not a programmer/web designer, so I don't really know what the problem is, but something is clearly being badly implemented.

I don't seem to be having these issues so I can't really complain, unless we're talking about their mobile app which SUUUUUUUUUUUCKS

As far as I know, Funimation's videos are all available to Canada if you watch through their own site instead of Hulu. |

Well... Not quite. I'm barred from watching their videos for a few days and then I can watch them.

Last week when I went to funimation.com, I got a screen that looked like all random text and a message from my antivirus software that it had blocked an attack. My assumption has been that the website was hacked, though I haven't heard anything to that effect. I don't normally visit funimation's site, so I don't know if it has been having other problems.

[speculation] FUNimation doesn't have any hired web programmers, and who ever is doing their current site is winging it like there's no tomorrow. When they announced their beta site, I took it for a spin, then left my "two cents" on the forum, telling them I won't return until someone gets it right. It was shortly after this they started porting their videos to Hulu, using their services rather than their own. It's at this point I determined funimation.com was a lost cause. I can't believe, in 2012, we still have companies that can't figure this out while advertising people to stream legally. |

The ads aren't a big deal with me, but constantly getting corrupt streams and frequent website code malfunctions definitely is.

I found that Fujnimation's site works best in Google Chrome's browser.
