The premise sounds funny, but the cast is amazing! That is some primo voice acting talent! I will have to check it out now!

Should be like Freaks and Geeks.

Though more likely it'll just be like any other nerd high school series. Laughing

Oy vey! More of these titles. It's like some weird, annoying word game the studios and otaku are playing with each and feeling oh-so-clever while the rest of us stare on with raised eyebrows.

It's like half the series nowadays think they're Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb or The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade* when they're really The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies.

*German: Die Verfolgung und Ermordung Jean Paul Marats dargestellt durch die Schauspielgruppe des Hospizes zu Charenton unter Anleitung des Herrn de Sade

Is it just me or does the protagonist on the background of that promotional picture look like Kirino's older brother from OreImo?

I'll Give It My All...Tomorrow, My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute!, Any Way You Look At It, It's Not My Fault I'm Not Popular!, Listen To Me Girls, I Am Your Father!, that one It Doesn't Matter If You're My Brother, I Still Wanna Pander To A Certain Audience! show, the A Certain Verbose Anime Series Animated By JC Staff That's Sure To Get An Unfunny Chibi-Adaptation... it's like the moé bubble burst and the new fetish is overly-long titles.

If that's the case, Comiket is gonna be weird(er than usual) this year.

Moe bubble burst? No, it's just LNs like having oddly long and specific titles. I see it on JAV titles too.

I think the long titles are interesting. You convey an entire synopsis on the cover, perhaps drawing your eye over the other hundreds of manga or light novels that it's competing with.

I still think they do it so they can have nifty, marketable short names. Stuff like OreImo, OniAi, Haganai, and AnoHana wouldn't make good titles, but are good for marketing stuff. Americans use acronyms (MLP, PSG, TTGL etc), Japanese use shorthand.
