The Transformers vs. G.I. Joe concept has been run into the ground. It's been done three times by Marvel in the 80s/90s, and about half a dozen times now by Dreamwave/Udon/DDP. The only time it was even remotely unique was the excellent Dreamwave version that put all of the characters in the WWII era and featured spectacular, haunting art by Jae Lee.
