To be honest I should buy another ticket just to see the premier with him as the guest. I can still consider but I better think fast before tickets run out. It's playing at our school theater which is why I should consider but I already bought it for the last week of the festival. But I'd love to hear the Q & A segment.

My heart literally stopped when I saw this and scrambled to see which tickets I got (it was the 6:30 showing). I was REALLY close to getting the show in the 24th instead. If I wasn't pumped up before, I sure am now.

Funimation licensed Wolf Children and plans to release it this year in theaters and on home video.

My watch has been wolf-like, but alas thus far I have yet to read of any dates concerning this.

I swear, when FUNimation gets the theater event going this year, just like FMA: Sacred Star of Milos, I will see it.

Missed too many anime being in theaters already, not again.

If anyone is interested in finding dates for the upcoming shows all you have to do is go to NYICFF site; GKids and you can see what they are screening.

Here's a link to the listings:

http://www.gkids.tv/intheaters.cfm

Wolf Children is screening in two places. The first place is the SVA Theater in NYC, W 23rd St at 4:00pm and 6:30pm on Saturday, 3/9. The 6:30 show is SOLD OUT.

*There is also a screening at this theater for Welcome to the Space Show (dubbed and to be released by Gkids).*

The second place is the IFC Center at 10:30am on Sunday, 3/10. That screening is SOLD OUT.

The last screening is on the final day of the festival; Sunday, 3/24 at 4:30pm.

If anyone is interested in seeing Up From Poppy Hill (dubbed premier to be released later by GKIDS) there are only 2 theaters available.

First place is the Elinor Bunim Monroe Theater which is nearby the Lincoln Center area at 11:00am and 1:10pm on Sunday, 3/16. All other showtimes are SOLD OUT.

Second place is the IFC Center, on Sunday, 3/16 at 11:10am and 1:10pm. All other showtimes and dates are SOLD OUT.

Hope this helps and good luck. Smile

I bought 2 tickets for the 4:00 PM show on March 9th, that is when/where Hosoda is doing the Q/A correct?

I hope I didn't get it wrong. He's the main reason why I am going. I mean I do want to see the film but I am so busy with school that I can't afford to go to NY just for a movie, but for Hosoda well that's a different story.
