The Pokemon special "The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon" first aired in the United States on Saturday, April 29th of 2006.

Many fans have mixed feelings due to this special, seeing as 4Kids Entertainment recently gave up their rights to dub any more episodes, therefore, the special was dubbed by Pokemon USA. Pokemon USA saw it fit to change the voice actors, and so the fans were first introduced to the new voice actors during this special.

So, what are your feelings on these new voice actors? Do you think the originals should have been replaced, or should they have stayed the same?

Horrible. Crying or Very sad Pokémon has been on the air way too long to change the voice actors. It's almost the same as watching The Simpsons without it's normal cast.

I agree, of course. A lot of people who are for the "Save The Dub" campaign use the argument that the Simpsons have been going successfully for years without changing the voice actors.

At first it was sort of weird to hear the voices. However I felt the person who did Ash, did him well and little older sounding.
The Misty sounded really good to me as did Jessie. The chick who did Jessie was really good! I mean it was really hard for me to figure out if it wasn't the original voice.
I didn't like Brock. He sounded very gruff, like he swallowed a frog. The others were fine.

Overall by the last 10 minutes I was used to the new voices and would rather be able to see the end of the series with the new voices then not at all.

I personally thought that most of the characters didn't really fit their role. But I do agree with animechicky123 in saying that I'd rather see the end of the series with the new voices rather than not seeing it at all.
