I found several images I'd like to use as an avatar, but they are too big! How do you resize images on google? I tried every thing, but I cant resize it!
[EDIT: Moved your topic and fixed the title. Also removed your "I love One Piece" rant. It's good that you like it a lot, but you don't need to tell everyone every chance you get. -TK] |

If you had read the stuff in the Announcements & Rules section, which you are required to read, you wouldn't have needed this thread to begin with.

No one can resize an image ON Google. It's a search engine, not an image-editing software.
(Sigh) If you have no idea of 1) The basics of your browser and using context menu, 2) The definition of a pixel, 3) The difference between different image formats, Then reading this guide would be useless to you. I'd suggest you find an experienced computer user to guide you at your side. It would be much more efficient because we wouldn't be able to answer your questions realtime.

Ok........ This is all I want to know. Where do I take the image to resize it and how do I get it there. Please tell me this and I'll stop bugging you.

1. Find the picture on the Internet. 2. Right click your mouse and select "Save Image As." 3. Save your picture to a place you know it will be easy to find, like your Desktop. 4. If your computer is decently up to date, it should have an image editing program. Find it, open up your saved picture using that program, and fiddle around until you figure out how to change the size. Since I have no idea what the specifications are on your computer are, there's nothing else I can really help you with for now. Good luck. |

http://www.animegalleries.net/ has a "make avatar" feature that you might find useful.

Hmm, I tried their avatar maker and it's a nifty little thing although no substitute for a true image editor. Still, enough to cater for most needs.
Perhaps a bit off topic but I got a chuckle out of their galleries. Relatively few anime shows have amassed over 1000 pics but for some strange reason I My Me Strawberry Eggs had an amazing 2020 pics in its collection. Hibiki Amawa alone had 400 pics. Show with most pics overall was Naruto with over 8000 images in the gallery. This was way more than any other show. Man, them fanboys are busy. |

Their Kiddy Grade gallery ripped a load of images from my site (although my own screencap galleries have since been taken offline) as well as the character stats.

Resize it in paint at start menu and acccessories. You can lessen the size of your pic in image toolbar. Or if you can't still have a pic, browse the google and choose small size pics.
