Fansubbers everywhere just felt a slight disturbance in the force.
Seriously though, I didn't expect a Cartoon Network exec to talk about Bleach fitting in on Adult Swim. Thats really cool. I really expected Toonami to get it.

Will this take the place of Fullmetal Alchemist? Or will FMA stay on as reruns?

I can't wait to hear their voices in English and finally be able to watch it on my big screen with surround sound. I'm guilty of watching the subs, but I really like how the voices sound.... gee now I sound like a fanboy. But anyways, I'm glad to hear that it is Adult Swim material and it won't be getting the Naruto/One Piece treatment.

I think i remember an earlyer post, don't remember if I posted it, just about everyone who posted on the subject was about 99.99% sure that Viz would acquire Bleach. Was the main article published on February 6th? If it was, I'm surprised no one else had seen this information beforehand.
How much longer for Inuyasha to end on [as]? Can someone PM me the ending or post it here with spoiler tags? I have no plan to watch every single episode of the series, I love the movies though, and wish to know if they eventually do away with Naraku... this is related to Bleach because in the article from AoD, it was posted that [as]/Viz might be looking to replace a couple of shows that are near their end.

If AS does air this then it'll probably go the way of Case Closed, if what people say about Bleach is true (about a good 69 episodes of filler).

I'm not sure if it'll air it in AS. I heard that AS doesn't want shonen action shows like Bleach anymore and that they'll only go for animes that have aboult 26 episodes. I don't know if it's true though.

I thought the only filler episodes are the recent episodes.

Wrong. The series is just barely past 69 episodes.
And only a handful of those are filler.

I thought I heard that just about all the episodes of Bleach are from the manga. Just a couple are fillers (I think the ones that focus on the little bear/lion thing and Mr. "bwahahahaha", I forgot his name but I'm sure Bleach fans know who I am referring too). I don't read the manga so i don't know for sure and I'm just going by what I think I remember hearing.
