Cool. I hope the DVDs will come out soon because this series is definitely worth buying after what I've seen thus far. Thanks for the link.

Mostly Animaze, but with Astro Boy they used their in-house facility Adelaide Productions.

Crap, well at least I know it's an excellent title to pick up when it finally comes out. I wish they would have waited until the series has completed it's run though. Episode 14 is a nice place to stop though.

The fansubs will most likely go underground.

Shame that it was Sony that picked it up. I am not too sure about their distribution down here.

How many seasons is it up to in Japan?
Do you know (if it is more then one season) how many seasons will be put out?
Is Sony just saying they got the liccens or that they have already dubed it?
And, most importantly, dose any know of a estimated relese date?

I'm realy looking forward to this show! It looked realy good when I was reading up on it.

*Thanks for this info!

If you look in the Encyclopedia entry, it should be obvious they're not even halfway done. But just to clarify, they have 52 episodes planned (in other words, two full seasons) and it has just been announced that Sony has licensed it, meaning they haven't even started dubbing or planning a release date yet.

And yes, it's a very good series with lots of potential Wink.

Wow I can't wait and I have to admit the fansubs look rather tempting but I'll hold out, mainly cause school is starting to get into full gear so I need all the time I can get, but for now I picked up the recent novel Blood The Last Vampire : Night Of The Beasts which I'll be reading in my spare time.

I think people should stop bitching about Sony picking it up. Give them a chance. Just caused they screwed up with crappy shows like Cyborg 009 doesn't mean it will suck. Sony's rich so I'm kinda surprised they havn't been compeeting with Geneon and ADV so I really look forward to this release.

I wonder if Sony will use this series as a Blu-Ray launch title. Isn't the PS3 and BR DVD players slated for the second quarter? I assume we will also see it on UMD.
