Forum - View topic50% (or more) of my posts are deleted?

What is the deal here? I must be breaking every forum rule there is to lose so many of my posts. I guess I wouldn't be so bummed if my posts were significantly different from those that are allowed to remain, but at least so far as I can tell they are all pretty similar. I've tried messaging/emailing the mods and I get no reply, so that's why I'm posting this as a new thread. If I'm such a bad influence on the forum you'd think I'd be banned by now. Apparently I'm not quite bad enough to ban, but I'm bad enough to have all my posts judged to the letter of the law with all gray-area posts presumed to be against the rules?

Well, double-check if you've broken any rules. A common one is the thing about one-liners. I also seem to have posts disappear, but as far as I know, they didn't break any rules. Crudely worded, maybe, but they don't delete for that. There are a few topics I could have sworn I posted on, but I guess not.
 I also don't get notified for new replies for certain topics, and I have to keep clicking the link at the bottom (esp. those introduction threads). I'm sure this isn't really related, but weird stuff happens.

Well sorry I can't patrol the forums 24/7 and universally, omnipotently delete every single one-liner, list post, and pointless "thank you" or "ok" response that ever existed. I delete every single one I find—not just yours, selectively—but I can't catch every single one, every single minute of the day. I got your spam post, but didn't get the guy's who posted ten minutes after you because it wasn't there when I checked? Oh well, I'll get him later if I spot it. Sorry I can't be perfect.
You know, unless someone breaks a major rule like flaming or posting download links, I don't make any attempt to remember names. I also don't usually send out notices because you know, if I did either one, I'd be here all damn day. I have a life, you know. If someone breaks a lesser rule like posting a one-liner or listing, I simply delete it and expect the person to read the rules and figure out for themselves where they went wrong. Odds are pretty good that your posts have been mostly these minor infractions. No, they aren't ban-worthy. But they also aren't severe enough to really warrant having to take the time to track you (and everyone else that commits them) down individually and remind all of you over every little one how a one-word "ok" response is typically frowned upon, when you ought to already know from the rules that such a thing isn't really allowed. |

So basically, to sum up Nagi's post, "Daxomni, I can't remember your deleted posts or even wether or not you made some, whatever got deleted, don't do it again."

Well, at any rate, thanks for the feedback. I'll try to take constructively.
I made a good-faith effort to deal with you like an adult through PM's, but apparently that just didn't work. So, here's another try... Thank you for giving us all yet another perfect example of the exact sort of worthless SPAM that's allowed to remain while most of my posts are deleted. I must tell you that it really makes it much easier for me to make my case when you butt into my posts with your little ego trip. For someone who previously went out of their way to let me know how little you supposedly cared about what I post, you sure seem to be rather preoccupied with it now. So, basically, to sum up my own post, "If you insist on continuing your childish little tag-team kiss-up game, please find some other thread to do it in, okay?" Thanks. |

Did you think that my post was some cleverly disguised insult towards you? Wow, just wow, you're one madly stubborn and self righteous guy. You'll say you're right even if I put the answers right in front of you. And once again you have the wrong idea about this, however I'm not going to try to persuade you to think differently in vain two times. And let me be clear about one thing, although I like/respect Nagi alot more than you, I do not have Nagi dolls stacked up against the wall, I also do not have a pile of unsent Nagi loveletters or Nagi fanart. On the subject: I did not think my post broke any rules, it was On subject It was completely english It had some measure of intelligence in it (I thought so anyway) There was no swearing It did not contain fake signatures I did not excessively quote There was no abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-charged, dangerous or illegal material in my message I accept the fact that a moderator can lock, delete or modify any of my posts at any time for any reason I did not "back seat moderate" in my message I did not try to sell, buy or transfer goods or services I did not request or offer links to bootlegs, fansubs, scanilations, active fan-translating groups, peer-to-peer networks, timed scripts, MP3s, unauthorized movie clips or websites that house these groups or products I acknowledge the fact that the ANN staff's statements do not reflect ANN as a whole I did not try to evade the censor |
