Casual patronisers of the great western multiplexes, who are doubtlessly this project's principle audience, would readily approve of such accessible visual subtlety.

Does a better job at telling us what we're watching than Dragonball Evolution.

Well from looking at the storyboard, looks like it's kinda close to the original story, I praise the guy who did the story of keeping this faithful.

Indeed. The original was such a subtle and understated film that seeing the material treated like this is disheartening.

It was kinda good until the last page, which made it seem like a cheesy joke on a Hollywood rendition of Akira spoiler[(…oh, wait)]. I don't want to crack on it too bad, because it isn't awful, but it's a little too pretentious. Why not just do a rendition of the animated film's opening? That kickstarted the atmosphere of it in a memorable way…

No, no, no, Warners Brothers is doing everything wrong. First off the bikers don't wear helmets because they want to kill other gans. Secondly, when did this film look like something out of Tron.

Yay! Let's all rip on storyboards for a movie's opening sequence. These were of course the only storyboards made for that whole sequence, and we being the movie production experts we are know that movies totally don't ever deviate from storyboards!

Oh look at that, the motorcycle is all wrong. It's not going nearly fast enough. That's so pretentious to just have the title there in the crater.

THIS MOVIE WOULD HAVE BEEN HORRIBLE BECAUSE OF IT.

Rolling Eyes

Really people. Really?

Looks good. I really wish this adaptation happens. Could really be good if taken in the right direction.

For Chrissakes, you got to see the storyboards for like the first 8 seconds, and you're damning the movie based on that?

Stay petulant, anime fandom.

Yet Oldboy get a free pass from crticism despite the movie being loosely based off the manga. Yeah, that's pro-Asian hypocrisy for ya.

To be fair, Asians are the master race. Any time you think an Asian has done something wrong, you're probably just confused or something.

I assume this is a sarcasm right. If it's not, then is the Rape of Nanjing, The Cultural Revolution, and the Tianammen Square massacre are the righteous thing.
