Interesting, I think I'll watch this.

But jesus can these chicks like wear bras or something. I never got anime's obsession with floppy boobs, it just looks odd.

One can certainly make the argument that this game getting localized means another game is either put on the backburner or just turned down especially if they're on PSP.

I have no real issues with this thing getting localized if it was anyone but XSEED. The company tends to localize games that put gameplay first and offers great experiences. Other than the girls maybe being a bit older, this franchise certainly looks like something NISA would grab.

And yet you just dismissed out of hand someone who asserted that it does have good gameplay (personally I have no idea, never played it, never really put much thought into the game at all). And as far as I can tell your logic is "Has fanservice so it must not be a good game".

You're right I did dismiss this game because of the fact it has giant boobs everywhere. Maybe the gameplay is great. Maybe it's the best beat 'em up ever made. But you and I should be able to agree that the gameplay is clearly not why people are interested in this franchise. Heck, given the producer says things like this:

"Said that the Wii U gives the chance for many unique ideas -- using the control pad to observe bishojo girls, for instance."

When confronted to give ideas and opinion about a new gaming platform I have to wonder if gameplay isn't that big of a priority at the development team either.

Yikes, the staff/studio combination alone makes this look like it was totally phoned in. Hopefully it'll please in a bit more than just the useless meat department, though; probably depends on how seriously the franchise takes itself.

Oh, yea, the trailer is sort of misleading too since pretty much the first half is from the opening of the game. But, at least it gives you an idea of what goes on at least.

At least the game backs-up the fanservice with decent gameplay (even the trailers that showed gameplay footage looked good before the game was released) - that can't be said for a lot of other games. It's not the most amazing beat'em up ever, but it's a solid fun game.

Oh goody. another series wherein the girls with huge breasts fight each other and occasionaly thier clothing explodes. What a novel and not run to the ground concept this surely is.
