I hope the actual anime is actually good. The trailers just scream out. "Look kids were are playing with anime conventions, aren't we cute." (see the other trailers, all bishies)

Hopefully the story will be decent, because this is incredibly pretty.

The last anime that I saw that was produced chiefly by GoHands (maybe the only one I've seen?) was Seitokai Yakuindomo, and I must say, the bright coloring and the glowy/sunny lighting that I saw (and liked) in that is very prevalent here. I understand that they haven't been been the headrunner animation studio for many shows... but has such lighting been a 'trademark' aesthetic of theirs? Might it become one?

I gotta say I'm in love with Nekos character design. I'm not into this pretty boy fighting shows, but I'm gonna watch it just for her.

I like the animation style and the colour palette (reminds me a bit of Mardock Scramble). Also liking the level of detail given to the background scenes, buildings, and technology (monorails, for example, but not the garbage removal bots). Character designs look pretty good, for the most part. Plus, the kitten looks really cute.

An anime that has men in it? And I mean, actual male characters who exist for more than the purpose of being an audience stand-in?
Holy f*ck, I'm watching this.
(Gotta love all the insecure nerds in this thread who can't handle men in their shows)

Well, it's pretty impressive looking, but I get worried by the fact that nobody's really given any idea of what the story is. It seems like it might just be punching a whole bunch of trope buttons in high-gloss without much else going for it. When your advertising throws two improbably pneumatic women one who displays exaggerated childishness, and a goth loli in my face, it's easy to feel pessimistic. If this turns out to be about Ohjamablablah Academy where the most elite students must for for the durr-derp-durr, I'm bailing.
Yes, it is, of course, rather premature to make any strong judgements, but this series is sending some signals that come in really bad to me.

Of course, there's enough unknown that it's unreasonable to judge to much. |
So it's going to become the next Guilty Crown, then (AKA all flash and no substance)?
...Well, at least it'll look moderately good.
