Looks cool as heck, but seriously we just got the second one. They could've waited a whole year before anyone even began to complain to want the next one.

Well since its clear that they aren't going to be fixing any of the problems with generations i'm glad they are giving out information on storm 3.

Looks great as always, but the fighting system for these games are broken. With Generations, they fixed the substitution issue, but other characters (particularly those of the Uchiha Clan) just have overwhelming advantages over others in terms of Ninjutsu techniques and Awakenings. Speaking of Awakenings, there should be an option to turn them on/off prior a VS. match whether local or ranked.
Either way, you can literally spend a whole match spamming ninja tools and ninjutsu moves without ever getting involved in melee combat. This is something I see on online matches way too often, and not surprisingly, with Uchiha Clan users (among other characters as well). Not much fighting more so than moving around till you outdo the opponent with 2-3 button techniques. At least, the story mode and visual presentation for these games do the manga more justice than the anime as a whole will. Even reinterpreting or adding more depth to key scenes in the manga. Heck, just based on this trailer, we get to see The Third and other established Konoha Shinobi duke it out with the Nine Tails. Something that's only been briefly shown in the manga and anime. I'm hoping they do the same with key scenes in the War. (Example: We actually get to see Kakashi take on the Seven Ninja Swordsman in a cinematic style battle

It looks as if the assiste feature will be modified to make multiple characters assist in battle for team ups considering the story will be about the war

You CAN spam the opponent in the story to go on, but I've noticed that it only works for so long before stronger opponents know how to block. And in regular gaming mode, I just decide not to do that so it CAN be fun. You have options on how you want to play, you know? Same with the awakenings.
But online, every time someone uses all the ranged moves on me, I love it. I dodge them all pretty easily and close in to kick their butt with Hinata. There was one person who fought me over 20 times trying to win once. I loved their enthusiasm and when I had to go to sleep, I contacted them and started an online friendship, so he could try again another time. So far, he hasn't won once.
Not that I don't lose when playing online. I can outmatch most beginners, though.

Don't know if we're playing the same version (360), but I often experience a lot of lag online. Blocking techniques doesn't seem to work after a certain point. And most of the time an opponent is overwhelmed, Awakenings are likely to happen. There's no option to turn that off. Yes, you can choose how to play, but too often it comes down to who can pull what faster.
