Do the AX staff regret not giving Sentai a panel now?
I'm surprised Sentai hasn't announced Queen's Blade: Beautiful Warriors yet (unless MB still somehow has claim on that) or Manyuu Hikenchou (they basically have all Hoods titles now)

Sentai was there with a booth. However, they couldn't get a panel scheduled for whatever reason. Up until about two weeks beforehand, they stated they planned on having one but then later said it looked like they wouldn't be able to.

How is this level of licensing sustainable? This makes SIXTEEN shows for Sentai, by my count, from AX alone!

so, who's going to buy all these shows? i want at least half of the spring season and what they have announced at AX. there is no way in hell i am ever going to be able to afford all that and the shows that Funi has licensed that i want. Also, do they even have any sort of guarantee these will sell well enough? what if they don't?

Unfortunately, many of these shows are going to bomb, but it's not a huge loss when it's DVD and sub only. Maybe they are planning something bigger and just need a large rotation of more shows to fill it up.

They might be VOD fodder for The Anime Network. Or some of these shows could be package deals.

I would love that too. I wonder why no one picked it up if Tari Tari seems viable. (Maybe Sentai hopes it will hook some of the K-On fans because Tari Tari and K-On vaguely resemble one another?)

Based on episode 1 (which I assume they were allowed to preview), this is far more serious than K-On ever was.
I also think a lot of people on this site undervalue sub-only anime.
