From what i heard the two episodes literally crammed the entire game in two episodes...and thats just terrible and if thats true no thanks. Hopefully thats not all they had planned for AX.

Except they didn't. It takes place AFTER the game. Though, it doesnt really complete a real story. It was a nice thing to watch but if people havnt already played the game then there's no point to watching it because it will just be confusing.

Really not sure if anyone was asking for this, after it was announced I'm pretty sure everyone just kind of forgot about it, oh well...
Still it suddenly and sadly reminds me that XSEED is probably still struggling to get the Second Chapter out...

Oh well thats a tad more forgiving but its still a dumb choice since the game (supposedly) didn't sell too well over here. If they wanted to license a video game adaption then TOS would of been a far better choice.

Even though I didn't like the first episode that much, I'll buy the DVDs anyway.

Having watched this, I say: STAY THE HELL AWAY. Unless you've played the games, you will not be following the story in the slightest. Also, it\s quite cheap, and I don't mean price-wise.

I'm close to finishing the game, so I'm curious about this anime.
I hope XSeed continues to publish the trilogy in English. This game is really awesome

Hmm interesting, I didn't even know the game had an anime adaption, may have to pick this up down the live.
...which reminds me still need to get around to playing the game.

Totally agree, I loved the first game and still trying to hold out hope for the rest of it.
I'll probably be buying the anime.

The only thing the show had going on for it was its RIDICULOUSLY GOOD fight scenes. Other than those, the show did a mediocre job at adapting the game, and the show doesn't actually follow the event of the game that accurately. The DVD is not worthy of getting in my opinion.
Also, since I played the whole trilogy, I just gotta say that the first game was the best one out of the three, plot wise. Don't get me wrong, the next two games were still really good, but the answers to all the mysteries presented in the first game weren't as interesting as you would expect.

I am assuming from the art that this refers to the two OVAs that were recently released in Japan.
Trails in the Sky is a three-part (chapter) PSP game, with the second chapter a direct sequel to the first one. The anime mostly concerns what happens in the second chapter, and perforce contains a huge spoiler for the way the first chapter of the game ends.
Unless XSEED is about to announce a release date for the second chapter (which is one of only two PSP games to ever require two UMDs) this strikes me as a very confusing move.
