It'd be more interesting if it was a fan-service special, but it's not (surprisingly, given that's her main schtick), so meh.

Meh, they know how to waste specials... Namis backstory wasnt entertaining. So why waste 2 hours to do it once again? They could have made funny/sexy episode with her, but no, they are gonna do some boring/depressing episode, that no one of the fan base isnt goint to appreciate anyway.

Awesome, Arlong Park is my favorite One Piece arc so to see it in HD and re-animated would be pretty awesome.

What's with all the hate? Arlong Park is a great arc and Nami is a great character. If you don't like One Piece, then why bother reading/commenting about the article? If you don't care about the arc or character, simply don't post.

Honestly, people who hate on One Piece, the best selling manga of all time, according to the very site you're reading this on, are probably ten year old trolls who still run around with Naruto headbands on. |

That wouldn't surprise me to be honest. Usually people who hate on One Piece ain't even bothered reading or watching it. Every single friend or person I've recommened One Piece to them and they LOVE it. Sorry 10 year olds, Luffy's going to be the Pirate King, just like Oda is King of the Manga's

So you guys don't want a Nami special because it's not fanservice? So Nami is just boobs to you? Why not look at her for the character she really is: A strong, likeable female character who breaks the mold of other Shounen heroines. Of course, her boobs make some of her appearance, but that's not all she is.
...But man, I still want her shoes!!! Impossible to cosplay as her because I can't find a pair of her awesome shoes! |

Well current Nami is not just boobs. She got awesome ass too. But that´s it right now. The episodes that did actually tell her history were among the most boring ones(as most scenes in mangas and anime that show what happened earlier, for some reason). She had better roles earlier and later on. |

Funny. This arc was the one that seal the deal for me about loving One Piece. And as I've read at Arlong Park Forums... most of the fanbase over there believe the same.
