How long will this job last, anyway? A few years? A few months? A few...days?

Dang, were it not for that "5 years experience" part, I bet I could apply. At least got that "familiarity with Japanese" part down.... ;p

Seeing as the popularity of the francise is on the decline, that "5 years experience" requirement might just be a benchmark ideal that they would like to find. "Desperate times call for desperate measures", and all that.

I'd wager to say that "5 Years of Experience" doesn't just mean 5 years working with pokemon. I'm assuming it means experience doing similar jobs, marketing, promotions, etc.

This makes me wonder: if they allowed Shinji Takamatsu to use his Gundam Directing talents, would the Show have been any better?
I say yes if Satoshi/Ash was allowed to act like Garrod Ran.

Well I don't know about the Australian market, but the UK market has been waning for a while now. If you go into any of our Toys-R-Us stores there is very little of it compared to when it was at it peak here 3, or 4 years ago. Also my two little Pikachu fans who couldn't live with out the cards, toys and games hardly ever touch it now, nor do they watch the repeats even when I point it out to them, they just go "meh". It's become a collectors item. Dust collectors that is. So with those observations I can only conclude its on the way out here and I can not accept the award but thanks anyway.
