I was wondering what tokyopop is going to do about randomhouse stealing their main source of manga licenses. It would be a shame to see a company that was responsible for making manga go mainstream (can I say that) left in the dark by a huge publisher, which just saw an opportunity to make profit. I mean random house getting first option on all kodansha mange is not good news for toyopop. And Viz already has rights to all shonen manga.
Are there any other big publishers in japan other then the jump guyz and kodansha? Well I do hope random house keeps a $9.99 price for manga. What do u guyz think |

The more the better I say. If anything it'll keep TP competative just like they did to Viz and the others. I don't think anyone knows of if the Kodansha/Random House deal is exclusive, but even if it is, there are still lots of different manga publishers in Japan. I don't see anything to get worried about.
