So I just made an import order for this because the same product is selling on Amazon.com for no less than $100 because all the sellers involved with it are completely retarded.
(Nevermind that I can find the other five limited edition volumes for around $10 each. No, the standard vol. 6 has to be special.) However, Amazon.ca is listing it as 'temporarily' out of stock. Naturally, I'm not worried about this because I won't be charged money until it ships anyway (which, if never, means I'll never lose that money). Problems is, this volume has been out of print for some time, obviously, and I am sceptical that Amazon.ca realistically expects to get one in. To anyone who might have more experience in this area, how likely is it that this is just a mistake on Amazon.ca's part? |

I ordered an item from .ca that was temporarily out of stock. I believe that was a year, year and a half ago. I don't expect it to ever come in, but I'll keep the order open for shits and giggles.
Also, just wanted to point out that there never was a limited edition of volume 6 of Lucky Star. Poor sales and all. So, the standard edition is the only edition. |

I'm a Canadian, ergo I am a bona fide expert on all matters relating to Amazon.ca
Yeah, you'll probably never get that item from .ca. If it's out every where else, it's not likely that .ca has a secret source somewhere. I guess they just never get around to updating some of their listings. |

It seems like chapters.indigo.ca has a copy in stock.

Oh, I'm aware. It's still pretty freaking ridiculous. |

The Yukikaze bluray is also listed as temporarily out of stock on amazon.ca, and thing is ridiculously rare and out of print. So yeah, they don't seem to ever update these old listings.

I actually bought probably the last new Yukikaze Blu-Ray direct from Amazon.ca about 1 year ago...I believe it was "In Stock" though. Took a chance and yep it was a new un-opened one! |

If they list it as out of stock then they don't have it. If you know it's long out of print then they won't be getting it. They just haven't updated the listing.

I've heard of a couple miracles involving Bandai Visual USA titles and Amazon CA. Yukikaze, Jin-Roh, Galaxy Angel Rune, and Super Robot War. I wish I had luck with Haruka and MS Igloo with them. Igloo is especially rare and the fans that bought it will most likely never sell it. They will continue looking for the disc for you until you decide to cancel. They are still looking for a volume of Haruka for me (for my friend) I wish you the best. I cannot believe that that Lucky Star volume is so rare now. I wonder if you can still get the limited edition artwork if you contact Bandai Entertainment directly. You should give them a call and see. |

Not really. I was getting delivery dates for the item I ordered, and it kept getting pushed back until they finally stopped kidding around and basically told me not to hold my breath
