Viz has the January releases on their website now. Monster is still not on it. Analysts pedict we will see the final glacier melt before we see Volume One of Monster

They've solicited it for February supposidly. Since they were actually promoting Monster, I'm going to assume there was a legitimate excuse behind the delay.

don't worry. it takes time for the world to really start turning bad and causing mass distruction. this year was bad, but save the worry for your kids. we are living the best of the best lives ever as of right now. those suckers being born now have a sucky future ahead of them.

Will Monster suffer the same faith as 20th Century Boy? 20th century boy got solicitated back in March and end up being delay until May. 20th Century eventually never was meant to come out until after Monster, by request of the mangaka.
It seem to be a contract or business issue with Monster, because if Viz wanted to, they can release it now or anytime they want (I'm sure they already have it done, but can't release it yet). They are already releasing tons of other average manga like Flame of Recca and more like almost tri-monthly.

Nice. The pace is slow, but I honestly don't mind (we're getting it alot faster than the Japanese did after all).
