I don't know how anyone can seriously vote for assassin when A) the show pretty much spells out that the assassin class is not very powerful in a fight and B) spoiler[Assassin(s) get absolutely massacred by Rider.]

I think the list should be:
1. Saber 2. Archer 3. Rider 4. Berserker 5. Caster 6. Assassin 7. Lancer Even though I listed them out in order, I feel that Saber, Archer, and Rider are all equally strong, and I feel that in terms of 1-on-1, Berserker definitely is just as strong as Saber and Archer, if not even stronger. I put Caster and Assassin pretty low because individually they are pretty weak, and I can't think of how they can kill anyone above them on this list. I put lancer at the bottom because he will get owned by 1-3, and he is terribly weak in the field of large scale offense. |

Do people watch this show? Because I could've sworn that in all the fights between Lancer and Saber, Lancer had the upper hand. Or, at the very least, was on equal ground. Hell, he even managed to spoiler[mortally wound her by making her left hand useless]. To have him not rank top five in a group of seven is absurd. Assassin being three is just another slap in the face.

This is no different from just a popularity list.
I think it should be like: 1. Archer 2. Saber 3. Rider 4. Berserker 5. Lancer 6.Caster 7.Assassin Lancer is more strong and skilled than Caster and Assassin and I think it's possible for him to take on Berserker as well. But Gil is the strongest servant for sure. It's just that he doesn't take anyone seriously and that causes him trouble. |

Gil is most certainly the strongest, especially in Zero. This is proven by the fact that spoiler[he wins].
Saber could only beat him in FSN because of Avalon. |

More like he used his trump card and only managed to spoiler[wound her hand. I don't see how thats mortally wounded either. It just won't heal, other than that she can't use it, theres really no problem. ] Also, Saber at least believed she would still win as when she rechallenged him, it was pointed out she wasn't using the hand he had hurt... unless you want to claim Saber went there intending on throwing away her wish and the fight. The only reason they appeared to fight evenly is because Saber was holding back on excalibur. His fighting skill may be close to Saber, but what really determines their strength is their Noble Phantasms and his spears are clearly 2nd rate compated to Rider's reality marble, Gil's Gate of Babylon, and Excalibur. Though I don't see why Saber is ranked that high other than simple favoritism. Anyone that has seen Fate Stay Night knows that spoiler[without Avalon, which she doesn't have yet in Zero, she has absolutely no chance at ever beating Gil] So at the very least ranking her above Gil is absolutely stupid. But if you look at the master's rankings, Waver is higher than Tokiomi... this is clearly just a popularity poll in disguise. |

People seem pretty up in arms about this, but clearly missed the part about the poll taking place during the week of the second episode. This was basically based on looks and intuition. If they took this poll again the week after the series ends it's would be entirely different. Realistically, based on what I've seen, Caster should be at least #3 on the list, Assassin would be at the bottom. Something like this:
1) Archer 2) Saber 3) Caster 4) Rider 5) Berserker 6) Lancer 7) Assassin For the Master list I'd probably move Waver to the bottom and push the list up. I'd place Kariya at 6 and Ryunosuke at 7. Emerje |

This seems like the common sense answer to me. Saber, Archer and Rider are clearly in league of their own. Archer is probably the strongest at this time. Although obviously spoiler[Saber does defeat him in FSN] so she's at least close. Berserker and Lancer are both reasonably strong but just not on par with the big three. I'd probably pick Berserker over Lancer though. Caster and Assassin are undoubtedly the weakest. Although, Caster probably gets the edge especially if "powerful" doesn't just mean a straight fight.

I think he's talking about Zero re: the spoiler. Personally, I would've put Berserker closer to the top. Zero Berserker spoiler[with a master that's not a ridiculous bottleneck like Kariya would be pretty darn strong. Berserker's so powerful that just fighting with Saber ends up killing Kariya.] spoiler[Saber with Avalon] #1 no contest, though. |
