MangaGamer, you bring Little Busters to American audiences and you will be counting the digital dollars.

My first hope was that MangaGamer is doing this to head up an announcement of Little Busters! for N.A.

and then some since any key work is probably twice as popular as any of their other VN's (minus possibly higurashi) and i'd buy it instantly. does anyone know id tomoe was in any other VN that has not been released in north america just kinda curious since this might be leading up to a new VN announcment.

I'm just glad to see they have such a presence at a con like AX each year.
As much as I'd love Key games in the US, I've heard the cost they want for licensing the VNs is astronomical. Hirameki used to say it and I've heard it hasn't changed much but who knows? If the anime series do OK here, maybe they will reconsider.

they actually said they dont beleive there isnt enough of people who would want to play it in the states not about the cost but that was two years ago so it might of changed.

This doesn't immediately mean a new VN announcement, because MangaGamer has brought other seiyuu/singers of VNs that haven't had a US release to AX before. Of the visual novels Tomoe Tamiyasu has voiced in which haven't had a US release are Snow, Hoshiuta, 5, and many others. She voices Yayoi in DEARDROPS which was made by OVERDRIVE, so they're also why she will be at AX.

The english patch thats been out for...a while would probably eat into those profits by a significant amount, given most people who want to have already read it. Not that it will happen. Anything KEY is a pipe dream, their just not interested in foreign sales.

Whatever MangaGamer has set for an announcement is fine, I'm just glad it looks like they're gonna have a fun panel again this year. Last time I was at AX, in 2010, the panel was a lot of fun and AX kind of forget we were there because the panel went over it's allotted time by at least a half an hour. It probably would have kept on going all night long too if a staffer didn't just happen to stick their head in and notice we were still there and shut the panel down.

According to the MG site, is looks like they're going to have less guests at AX than they did last year.
I'm sad to see that. MangaGamer has been the highlight of my AX experience for the last couple of years. While I'm happy that Katakura will be back, I hope that MG brings another eroge artist along. Would love for any of their previous artist guests to return.

This is the reason Fate/Stay Night hasn't officially been released in America, even though other stuff in the franchise has. Anyone whos interested in it has already read it by this point, and you'd only get the hardcore collectors who want it in their collection, not the people who want to play it.
