Well, decided to make a discussion about Animax-Asia and anything related to it.

We'll first start off by announcing the lineup for the month of November.

Legend:
SE Asia I - Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia
SE Asia II - Philippines
HK- Hong Kong
TWN - Taiwan

Here's the list of new animes for this month:

-Onegai Teacher
(new for SE Asia I and II, show still continuing in HK)

-Gunslinger Girl
(new for SE Asia II, program still continuing in SE Asia II)

-Magical Meow Meow Taruto
(new for SE Asia I, SE Asia II and HK)

-The Galaxy Railways
(new for SE Asia II, continuing program for SE Asia I, HK and TWN)

-Ninku
(new for all broadcast feeds)

-Kino's Journey
(SE Asia I only for this month)

-Mahou Shoujo Tai/Magical - Girl Squad - Alice/The Adventures of Tweeny Witches
(SE Asia I as of Nov.2005 for special premiere, regular telecast on December)

-Melty Lancer
(new for HK, program still showing on SE Asia I, not available in SE Asia II Sad )

-Voices of a Distant Star/Hoshii no Koe
(for TWN only)

-Hyper Speed Grandoll
(for Taiwan only)

-Ranma 1/2
(new for Taiwan)

-Final Fantasy : The Spirits Within
(new for Taiwan)

And that's your lineup for the month of November.

Also, for any of you Taiwanese out there, Animax Taiwan is holding a special SMS contest:

Contest ends on November 14th, 2005.

So there.

PS: I do hope that we can make this sticky because I was planning to use this thread as a permanent discussion and also to make monthly announcements on new anime programs, so that we won't have to make another one which is just a waste of space.

Thanks.

Pretty sweet lineup, but it seems that the Philippines isn't getting Kino's Journey yet Sad

I got the THINPAK for the thing, and it was really great

I saw the trailer for GUNSLINGER GIRL, it's a MADHOUSE production, so naturally I'm a bit curious to go and see it

Also, has SAIKANO even aired somewhere in asia yet?

Nope, only for Animax Taiwan I'm afraid (even after 14 months since the show started airing there).

But I do agree with you on the Kino's Journey thing.

I still have no idea if we will get this show (although our Singapore and nations under SE Asia I get it this month).

The same can be said for Melty Lancer and Jubei Chan: The Ninja Girl (especially the former).

Heck, Melty Lancer would've been better than airing Initial D 4th stage Part I (anyways, the Taglish dubbing for the latter is.......disturbing).

Melty Lancer instead Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

In other news, Onegai Teacher just aired last Friday, November 4th and hell was it an awesome show (even during the first two episodes shown on that day).
