Wow, yet another way to get Paranoia Agent, someone really outta license rescue that for R1.
What's the shipping like to the US? Those prices aren't at all bad so long as shipping isn't. Oh neat, it's less than US$5 for one DVD, that's pretty nifty! |

I believe that Roujin Z is licensed by Kaze but is being released by Manga.

I seriously wonder how anyone who doesn't own the full collection finds the strength to go on living. |

*Sigh* I wake up everyday, look at the space left in the art box and curse the day I was born. |

It's those Only Yesterday and Ocean Waves releases that tempt me the most, Even after converting to dollars and adding whatever shipping you'd have to get it looks like you'd be paying for both of the type of price you'd pay for one Disney/Ghibli release.
although Only Yesterday has one heck of a delay "Dispatched in 1 to 2 months"??? decided to check elsewhere... HMV has it for a comparable price and says "1-3 days." Play.com says 1-2 weeks |

It looks like Millennium Actress (with English dub) is no longer in-stock @ Amazon UK and not listed @ http://www.shopmanga.co.uk.

Kaze UK (Berserk movie 1): - Kaze UK will start releasing these films from December 31st. - First movie will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray, working towards a Collectors Edition as well. - The first film will also get theatrical screenings in October (read: At Scotland Loves Anime!). - Viz Media are probably trying to assemble a dub cast around the original TV anime dub, no official word on this yet however. - These movies are effectively a reboot of the franchise which follows the manga, so should appeal to new viewers. - The US cast from the TV series seem keen to reprise their roles for the dub of these movies. Manga UK: - Black Lagoon on Blu-Ray - coming on July 2nd! First two seasons - one complete DVD set, two separate Blu-Ray season sets. - Strike Witches Season 2 - released 23rd July on DVD. MVM: - Bodacious Space Pirates licensed by MVM for release next year. - November will see Mayo Chiki released. - Coming next year from MVM: Season two of Shana. MVM are looking to license the rest of Shana (season three and OVAs). Last edited by WTK on Sun May 27, 2012 8:52 am; edited 1 time in total |
