Can you even believe that Super Milk Chan is anime? I think that it was disgustingly tacky! Like Perfect Hair Forever, ya know, a non-anime made to resemble anime in a mocking sort of way. Does that disturb anyone else or is that just me?

Actually, SMC is anime, because it was made in Japan. It may not look like it, but it is. Now, something like PHF, Teen Titans, Megas, or Totally Spies are NOT anime, because they are not Japanese.

Well, yes, I know that.
However, a lot of the shows you listed benefit from copying anime, and are good shows in their own right.
But, shows like Perfect Hair Forever shouldn't be tolerated because not only is it not anime, but it was made to poke fun at anime.
Super Milk Chan, even though it was anime, reminded me of Perfect Hair Forever, mainly because of the line in every episode, "Now let's all go eat sushi or something!"
It disgusted me!

Get the dvd and watch the americanized version. It's much funnier.

SMC is Japanese. Therefore, it's anime.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with poking fun of, or mocking Anime, since it opens itself to such mockery all the time.

The Americanized version of Super Milk-chan is also horrendously unfunny too, but that's just me

The one Adult Swim aired was the Japanese version. The american version has the american VA's acting through the live action sketches and it has american references to pop culture.

The live action scenes with the voice actors were really funny. I'd like to see ADV do a spin-off and make a live action comedy series based on what happens in their studios like in the americanized version. But that's not gonna happen.
