Hmm, Ayako Kawasumi replaced by Mamiko Noto? Rolling Eyes I don't see the new cast and staff list at the official Comic High homepage. May I ask where the source was? Was the anime cast list on this issue of printed Comic High? I've been searching the list over the Net, yet none has provided the staff list and cast change. The only list I could find was the drama CD cast and staff.

EDIT: "Houston, we've got a problem."

EDIT2: Problem solved.

Speaking of this title: I have always been suspecting that the US licensor has slightly misinterpreted the title 女子高生. The US English title, High School Girls, seems to be a translation from 女子 (girl) + 高生 (high school students). However, according to the author what she wanted to emphasize was the environment and behavior of students in all-girl high schools -- which means the correct way to break the kanji phrase should be 女子高 (all-girl high school) + 生 (students). Thus the original English title given by the authore, Girl's High School Students.

Hopefully, Dr. Master can benefit from this.

I see no cast and staff list there. Rolling Eyes As I said, it's probably written in the printed magazine.

That's totally irrelavant, what was it that Chris said in a previous debate, ah yes the cards are on the table:

once clued in to a story will go and get the details themselves. This is a somewhat dishonest but perfectly legal way to get around the requirement to source.

First I've heard of this title, but from what I can see at that link it looks like another Azumanga Daioh type genre. Am I wrong? Question

Yes you are. Twisted Evil GHSS is much more ecchi and includes many "private talks" among girls, like spoiler[the correct way to use tampon, shaving and trimming hairs for wearing swimsuit, breast sizes of themselves and penis sizes of their current, ex, or potential boyfriends,] etc. Take this dialogue as an example:

spoiler[Takanori Shimotakatani (Ayano Sato's boyfriend; both are virgins) asked Akari Kouda (virgin) and Kyoko Himeji (non-virgin and quite open to sex; no stable boyfriend): "I still can't figure out specific functions of three 'holes' of females' reproduction organs..."

Kouda: "That's easy. From the top: to release, to bore, and to release."
(simultaneously)
Himeji: "That's easy. From the top: to release, to be inserted, and to release."

Shimotakatani: "What the...?!?!"]

Hmm. sounds like it's more shounen than shoujo, more so than Azumanga.

I certainly didn't see this coming O_O Being someone who doesn't generally like stories that are high on fanservice and ecchi comedy, especially when they lack any real plotline, I have to say that I was pretty shocked to fall head over heels for the manga. As the manga's absolutely hilarious, I can't wait to see if the anime can hold up against it. Good choice, Whoever it was that decided to animate this Anime smile

This is great news. I think the manga's hilarious. It really is more shounen than shoujo(kind of like a wolf in sheep's clothes). What's more, is that Yukino Satsuki's playing Koda. she's' one of my favorite seiyuu, so already this is looking up. Cool

The rest of the cast looks good too, judging by previous roles.

I've only read the first volume of the manga, but I really enjoyed it. Hope the anime stacks up.

I've read up to volume 4 of the manga...

I've enjoyed it, and even though it could be described as heavy on the fanservice and ecchi at times, there's a lot of strong humor, and some of it is apparently quite realistic.

I'm not going to mark it down as "pervy writer writes about high school students getting naked" because the artist is a woman, writing partly from experience.

Problem with that is that it isn't very catchy. I'm sure the author's original title is catchy (or neutral) in Japanese, so what would be more appropriate a lieral translation that doesn't sound good, or an approximation that sounds just as catchy ?

Anyways, from a marketing point of view C1/DrMaster would be idiots to use a title that doesn't sound good to a native English speaker.

No you weren't.

My source for this was a Japanese reader by the name of Vitrivius (who is active on this forum) who sends in a lot of news for me. I have 4 or 5 items in queue from him that haven't been posted yet and I have no idea which one's you may or may not have posted on your site.

Get a life Jonah.
