Did Funi see the success of High School of the Dead and decide to grab anything with zombies? LOL Anyway, the promotional art isn't doing anything for me and it doesn't sound like something I would be interested in. I will be skipping it for now.

well i like the pick up, i've already been reading and watched the first episode and think its a pretty good series, we'll see how the rest of the anime goes but as far as i'm concerned this is a good, solid pickup from Funi, i'm interested in what else they have in store for the rest of the season

I don't think so lol, Highschool of the Dead was like full blast ecchi, panty shots, blood, sex, gore and all that stuff. This doesn't appear like an anime to be anything like that ( maybe ecchi and panties ) ~I think It's more related to them licensing Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka, zombie-comedy and that. but that's just what IM saying. |

I guess it's major announcement day, half of the new shows I've been waiting for have finally been picked up. Just waiting on Dusk maiden of Amnesia, EUREKA SEVEN AO, IS THIS A ZOMBIE? OF THE DEAD, Medaka Box, and Shining Hearts ~Shiawase no Pan~. FUNi will probably announce Zombie?, not sure about the rest.

What the hell is this?The concept for this anime is ridiculous anyways hopefully Funimation picks up some more worthy and interesting anime titles that are worth our time!

I've got all 3 vols of Sankarea sitting on my shelf right now. Who doesn't want to have their own cute zombie waifu?
I'm just surprised that it's being animated so quickly, because it's only been serialized for 2years or less. |

I'd have thought the would have licensced "Is This A Zombie From The Dead" before this one.
Never read the manga or seen the first ep., but just reading the concept made me think: it's Frankenweenie but with a cat, with romance thrown in. Wonder if there'll be actual zombies (in whatever form u like) or if it's just a reason to get the lovebirds together. |

There's two Cons going this weekend, and they have panels at both, so they're probably spliting up the announcements between the two. Since it didn't pop up on CR before it aired, I'm pretty sure it's going to pop up on Funico, we just have to wait for the announcement. |
